What it is
A fishing logbook first. Community when you want it.
Reeliva is built around your own record of your own fishing. Everything you share with anyone else is a separate decision you make, one catch at a time.
Your logbook
Species, weight, length, lure or bait, method, notes, a photo, who you were with, and the conditions at the time. Unlimited, and yours.
Offline by design
The logbook lives on your phone. You can record a whole trip with no signal, and use Reeliva as a guest without an account at all.
Private unless you say otherwise
Every catch starts private. Making one public, offering it to a spot and entering a ranking are three separate choices.
Sessions
Track the trip, not just the fish
Start a session when you begin fishing and stop it when you are done. Catches you log join it, so you end up with how long you fished, where, and what happened.
What a session records
- Duration, with pauses when you stop for a while
- The catches logged during it
- Where it happened, and the conditions
- The people fishing with you
Reeliva does not track your location in the background.
Maps
Four map styles, and a community map
Your own catches on your own map, and a separate public map of places anglers chose to publish. The two are deliberately kept apart.
Standard, Outdoor, Satellite, Marine
General context, terrain, imagery for reading a shoreline, and marine charts with depth contours where the data covers the sea.
Public Fishing Spots
Browse places other anglers published, with how many public catches have been recorded there and which species.
Conditions, recorded with the fish
Temperature, wind, pressure, humidity, cloud and conditions are captured alongside a catch, so months later you can see what the weather was doing.
Reeliva Pro can also recover the conditions for catches you logged before.

What the day was actually like
Weather is part of a fishing record, not a separate app. Reeliva stores what the conditions were when you logged, so your history means something later.
Insights
Your own patterns, described honestly
Reeliva summarises what you have actually recorded — by lure, method, spot, time of day, month and conditions. It describes your history. It does not predict fish.
Privacy
Where you caught it stays yours
This is the part Reeliva is most careful about.
Your GPS is never published
A catch’s own coordinates are never shared. A shared catch is located by the public spot you offered it to, at the precision that spot was published at.
Nothing shares itself
Catches are private by default. Public, shared-with-a-spot and entered-in-rankings are three separate switches.
Approximate stays approximate
A spot published as approximate is shown as an area of about a kilometre, and nothing reveals a more precise original.
