Everything else in Reeliva is built on this. A catch takes a few seconds to log and keeps its detail for as long as you keep the app.
What a catch holds
The fish
- Species — your own names, not a fixed list
- Weight and length
- Lure or bait, and fishing method
- Kept or released
- A photo
- Notes, for anything the fields do not cover
The circumstances
- Date and time
- Where you were, kept private to you
- Conditions at the time — see Weather
- The fishing buddies who were there
- The session it belonged to, if one was running
- A public spot, if you choose to associate one
Offline, and without an account
The logbook is a database on your phone. Nothing about logging a catch needs a network.
Guest mode
Use Reeliva without signing up at all. Your catches stay on the device. Create an account later and what you logged comes with you.
No caps
Unlimited catches and sessions on the free plan. Reeliva Pro is about backup and analysis, not about how much you may record.
Yours to edit
Change or delete any catch. Search your logbook by what you remember, and filter it in more detail with Reeliva Pro.
Units that match how you fish
Weight in kilograms or pounds, length in centimetres or inches, temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit. Set it once; every screen follows.
Private by default. A new catch is visible to you alone. Making it public, offering it to a public spot and entering it in rankings are three separate choices, each made per catch. See Community.
