Terms of Use
The agreement between you and Reeliva.

1. Accepting these terms
By downloading or using Reeliva you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Using Reeliva
Reeliva is a personal fishing logbook. You may use it to record your own fishing activity.
You can use Reeliva as a guest, with no account. In that case your logbook is stored only on your device, and we cannot recover it if the device is lost or the app is deleted.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, and at least 13.
4. Your content
Your fishing records are yours. Your catches, photos, notes, spots and buddy list remain your property. We claim no ownership of them.
You grant us only the limited permission needed to run the service — to store your content, back it up, and display it back to you across your devices. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account.
You are responsible for what you record, including having the right to record information about other people you add as fishing buddies.
5. Reeliva Pro subscriptions
What Pro includes
Reeliva Pro unlocks cloud backup, multi-device sync, cloud restore, advanced statistics, advanced filters and map history. The core logbook — logging catches and sessions, photos, the basic map, basic statistics and fishing buddies — is free, with no limit on how much you record.
Billing
Reeliva Pro is offered as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account at confirmation of purchase. Prices are shown in your local currency in the app, as set by the store for your region, and may differ between countries.
Auto-renewal
Your subscription renews automatically for the same period and at the same price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the period.
Free trial
A free trial may be offered on the yearly plan. Trials are available only to eligible accounts, as determined by the App Store or Google Play — the app shows a trial only where the store confirms one applies to you. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription begins and your account is charged. Any unused part of a trial is forfeited if you buy a subscription during it.
Cancelling
You can turn off auto-renew at any time in your Apple or Google account settings. The app links you there under Reeliva Pro. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for.
We cannot cancel a subscription on your behalf — only the store can.
Refunds
Purchases are handled by Apple and Google, and refunds are governed by their policies. Requests must be made to the store, not to us.
6. What happens if Pro ends
If your subscription lapses, nothing in your logbook is deleted. Your catches, sessions, spots, photos and buddies remain on your device and the app keeps working as the free version. Cloud sync simply pauses, and changes you make continue to be saved locally until you subscribe again.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Break the law, or record information you have no right to record;
- Attempt to access another person's account or data;
- Interfere with, overload or probe the service;
- Reverse engineer the app except where the law permits it;
- Resell or redistribute the service;
- Use the app to harass anyone.
8. Accuracy — please read
Reeliva records weather, tide-adjacent, location and other environmental information for your convenience and for pattern-spotting. It is not navigational or safety information and must not be relied on for either.
Insights the app derives from your history are observations about your own records, not predictions. Fishing outcomes are not guaranteed.
You are responsible for your own safety on the water and for complying with local fishing regulations, licences, seasons and limits. Reeliva does not verify any of these.
9. Offline use and sync
Reeliva is designed to work offline, and your device is the primary copy of your logbook. Cloud backup is a convenience, not a guarantee. We take reasonable care, but you should not treat any single service as your only copy of something irreplaceable.
Sync requires a network connection and an active Pro subscription. Changes made offline are stored locally and uploaded when both are available.
10. Availability
We aim to keep Reeliva available but do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely we will give reasonable notice and a way to retrieve your data.
11. Ending your use
You may stop using Reeliva at any time, and can delete your account from within the app. Deleting your account is separate from cancelling a subscription — cancel your subscription in the store as well, or it will continue to renew.
We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms.
12. Disclaimers and liability
Reeliva is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost data or profits. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app. Continuing to use Reeliva after a change means you accept it.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
15. Apple and Google
These terms are between you and us, not with Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for Reeliva or for support of it. Where you obtained the app through the App Store, Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them.
